Shoutout to our project manager for fixing a billing system bug
We had a weird glitch where our project management software, Asana, wasn't syncing billable hours to our invoices for a whole month. It took our lead PM, Sarah, about 16 hours over three days to trace it back to a custom rule we'd set up. She had to rebuild the integration from scratch. Has anyone else had a sync issue between their project tool and billing platform?

Yeah @wren301 is spot on with the "hero moment" thing. I've seen teams burn out fixing the same fires every week. The fix is boring but it works. Like, start a simple doc for every outage. Write down what broke, why, and one step to stop it next time. Do that every single time and you'll be shocked how fast the "hero" stuff just stops happening.
