The one spreadsheet that stopped our client from ghosting us
We had a client in Cleveland who kept asking for changes but never confirmed the scope. After three rounds of free edits, I built a simple shared sheet listing every task, who owns it, and the deadline, then made them check it off before we started any work. It killed the ambiguity instantly. Has anyone else tried a public tracker like this, or do you just eat the cost to keep the peace?

Trackers work when they force the other side to be clear about what they want. I ran a similar sheet with a contractor and the check-off step alone cut the back-and-forth in half. Eating the cost just trains them to keep asking for more free stuff.
