I spent $300 on a custom AI voice model that sounded like a robot

I paid a freelance developer last month to train a voice clone for my video tutorials. The demo sounded okay, but the final files had this weird metallic echo on every sentence. I tried to fix it for a week before giving up. Has anyone found a good, affordable service for this that actually works?

Feel the same pain with so many tech services now, where you pay for a custom job and get a broken product. It's like we're all beta testers for half-finished ideas, but they still charge full price. Check out ElevenLabs, their basic tier is pretty solid.

ElevenLabs is decent but their free tier only gives you 10k characters a month. Hit that limit fast if you're doing any real work.
