I was trying to get a simple AI to sort my photos and it kept putting my dog in the 'vehicle' category
I was at home last Thursday, using that free local AI tool, Lobe, to organize about 2,000 vacation pictures. It kept tagging every single photo of my golden retriever, Baxter, as a 'car' or 'truck' because he's tan and was often sitting in our Jeep. I had to manually correct over 300 tags, which made me realize how much these models still struggle with context and overlapping visual features. Has anyone else run into a weird, persistent misclassification like that with a smaller AI project?

Lobe's training data probably just had a lot of tan dogs IN vehicles, not AS vehicles.

That reminds me of a friend who kept getting tagged as furniture in old photos. The AI just saw a brown shape on a couch and made a guess. Guess we still have to check their work, right?
