Just heard a talk about a new AI that can help find new materials

I was listening to a podcast with a researcher from MIT, and they were talking about their GNoME project. It's an AI that can predict millions of new, stable crystal structures for things like better batteries. It made me realize how these tools are moving from just analyzing data to actually creating new science. Has anyone else seen AI start to make real discoveries like that?
