Question about AI video generation and a weird thing that happened last week
Last week, I was using a new AI video tool to make a short clip for a project. I gave it a simple prompt, like 'a dog playing in a park'. The video looked fine at first, but then I noticed something in the background. For a few frames, there was a person's face that looked like a messed-up copy of my own profile picture. It was only there for half a second, but it felt wrong. It makes me think these models are pulling from data in ways we don't see. Has anyone else caught their own data popping up in generated stuff?

Wait, your own face? That's messed up... @grace926 is right, it's creepy how it mixes stuff up.

That's honestly pretty creepy to think about. It feels like these tools are mixing up their training data in weird ways. Makes you wonder what else gets pulled into the background.

Actually weirdly enough my cousin was messing around with one of those face swap apps last week and it kept pulling up a random guy from like 2008 in the background of his photos. @grace926 it's super unsettling how the AI just grabs whatever its training data has stored up. Reminds me of when I used an old photo restoration tool and it added a random cat to my grandpa's shoulder that was definitely not in the original.
