Feel that in my bones. I've probably rounded off a dozen valves doing it the hard way, all because the "right" tool never clicked in my head.

My old man spent years trying to open jars with a butter knife before he bought a proper gripper. Some solutions just look too simple to be real.

What finally made it click for you?
