Just learned a quick way to clean clogged fuel injectors without pulling them

I had a 737 come in last week with a rough idle on engine number two. Pulling all those fuel injectors would have taken me half a shift. A senior mechanic showed me this trick where you rig up a small pressurized can of carb cleaner with a rubber hose directly to the fuel line. You run the engine on the cleaner for about 30 seconds, let it soak, then do a dry start. It cleared up the rough idle on the first try. Saved me from ordering six new injectors and a ton of labor time. Has anyone else tried this method or do you still prefer pulling them out for a full cleaning?

@burns.brooke I used to think that too but this trick changed my mind.

Doesn't that risk damaging the O2 sensors downstream though?
