That inspection card in Wichita made me rethink torque values
I found out a used 737 brake assembly had bolts torqued to spec on paper, but the actual readings were 15% low when we rechecked. The card said 200 ft-lbs, but the digital wrench showed 170 across the board. How many other signed-off jobs are just pencil whipping it on the line?

Used to trust the paper, but this makes me wonder how many other cards are lying to us.
