Customer asked me to hide the keypad behind a bookshelf, here is what happened next
A lady in Scottsdale wanted her DSC panel mounted inside a closet so guests could not see it, but when her husband came home early and could not disarm the system before the cops showed up, he stood there yelling at me about false alarms while I was still packing my screwdriver.

Man that is the classic install regret right there. Hiding a panel looks clean until a guest, a sitter, or a half awake husband needs to punch in a code fast. I have seen guys bury the thing behind a stack of moving boxes or at the back of a closet shelf so you need a ladder and a flashlight just to reach it while the siren is screaming. The Scottsdale deal could have been a 30 second disarm but it turned into a full on cop response because the reset was behind a bookshelf and nobody knew which book.
