That old church job in Cleveland changed how I run wire forever
I was doing a install at St. Mary's on the east side back in 2017 and the walls were all plaster over brick... no way to fish through like usual. The building super told me to just run the wire along the baseboards with those plastic channels and I fought him on it for an hour. Finally gave in and it took me half the time of a normal job and looked clean too. Anybody else run into old buildings that made you change your whole approach?

Honestly, did you have to deal with those old wooden baseboards that splinter if you look at them wrong? I did a job in a Victorian last year and ended up using paintable wiremold too, but matching the trim profile was a nightmare. Ngl, once I stopped trying to hide it behind the plaster and just worked with the surface, everything went smoother.
