Am I the only one who thinks anime makes doing chores look way too easy?

In every slice-of-life show, characters clean their whole house in like five minutes with a smile. Real life with family means someone always slacks off and you argue about who takes out the trash. Why do anime writers skip the messy parts of sharing a home?

You seen the way they fold laundry? It's like one perfect motion and the whole shirt is done. Meanwhile, my version involves a weird struggle and it still looks like a balled-up towel. I think they leave out the part where you have to redo it three times because you got distracted by your phone. My whole life is that messy part they skip, lmao.

Right? The "weird struggle" is the whole process. They cut straight to the clean room montage and skip the hour of procrastination.

Totally, that "weird struggle" is the real part. My folded shirts always look like I fought them and lost.
