inStumbled on a palette with exactly 3 blues and it clicked for my whole brand kit
Three is actually a pattern I've noticed everywhere once you start looking for it. Like how good stories have a beginning, middle, and end, or how traffic lights work with red, yellow, green. For colors specifically, three shades gives you enough contrast for hierarchy without getting messy. I remember reading somewhere that the human brain naturally groups things in threes, so it makes sense that a trio of blues would feel more complete than two or four.

inPro tip: Not every frame needs a torque wrench for carbon parts
My Fizik saddle slipped at the factory spec of 5 Nm on my aluminum post, so I bumped it up by half a turn with a standard hex key and it hasn't moved in over a year. For me, the key is learning that "tight enough" on a carbon part is just before you feel the bolt start to strain, not a random number from a chart.

inRewatched Breaking Bad in 10 days vs the original 5 year run
Emma you pretty much nailed it but I gotta gently push back on the "literally just trying to keep her family from falling apart" part. In my experience she also did some pretty shady stuff herself like the whole Ted thing and the tax fraud. Not saying she was worse than Walt or anything but she wasnt totally innocent either. She made choices that hurt the family too, not just Walt. But yeah I agree the "Skyler is the worst" take is way overblown, she was mostly reacting to a crazy situation.

inHit 97% color match on a tricky olive green after 8 tries
Oh wow, that is a great catch. I actually read somewhere that small shifts in cyan can make or break an olive green because it interacts so differently with yellow bases. I had a similar headache matching a sage green for a client last year, and after way too many test prints, I found that dropping my yellow by just 4% did the trick. It is wild how a single digit change can be the difference between a muddy mess and a spot-on match. Your 22% cyan fix makes perfect sense since lower cyan values often look washed out with certain greens. I have heard other printers say they keep notes on these little tweaks for future jobs because they are so easy to forget.

Her "dreaded logging in" line really hit home for me.
