What finally made you walk instead of just raising the price?

Had an old timer show me something similar with checking the hook height by eye against a fixed point on the boom before trusting the load chart. Sounds dumb until you realize the sensors only read what they're told, and a bent pin or bad calibration throws the whole thing off. The manual check takes ten seconds and has saved me from at least one pick that would've gone sideways.

Man, I heard a podcast say Root's two player mode was basically an afterthought the designer added later.
