I just realized I've been skipping the 'next episode previews' for like 10 years, and my friend in Chicago said I'm missing half the fun.
He pointed out that the previews often have jokes or hints that totally change how you see the episode you just watched, which I finally noticed last week when I accidentally let one play for 'Spy x Family'.

Man, just start letting them play from now on, you've been missing easy jokes and setup payoffs for a decade.

Look, I've built a career on missing the point. If I started landing jokes now, my whole brand would fall apart. Gotta stay true to the bit, even if the bit is being ten years behind on every punchline. Consistency is key, even when it's consistently bad.
