Chose OEM board over a universal for a GE fridge, paid the price
My control board on a 2018 GE French door fried last Tuesday, and I went back and forth on OEM at $210 versus a $95 universal. Picked OEM because of the exact wiring, but two days later the compressor relay clicked off and the replacement had the same fault code. Anyone else find universals actually more reliable once you rewire the harness?
