Dropped $180 on a parts washer for my bench and it just makes a mess
Last month I finally bought one of those bench top parts washers for cleaning burner heads and fan blades. I figured it would save me time on every gas range call. Big mistake. The thing holds maybe a gallon of solvent, and it splashes everywhere no matter how gentle I am with the brush. I have used it on 6 jobs now and the pump already sounds rough. Plus I still end up scrubbing with a wire brush and a rag half the time anyway. Has anyone found a setup that actually keeps the solvent contained, or should I just go back to the old bucket and brush?
