Just had a customer in Phoenix try to pay me with a box of frozen steaks

Tbh, I was fixing his fridge last week and the bill came to $275 for a new compressor. He looked at the invoice, went to his freezer, and came back with a full box of ribeyes saying 'This is better than cash, right?' Honestly, it happened right there in his garage with the old compressor still on the floor. Has anyone else had a client try to barter with something totally wild instead of paying?

So a full box of ribeyes... what did you even say to that guy? Did you take the meat, or did you have to explain that your boss only accepts actual money?
