Rented a gimbal from Tucson for a shoot, hated it until I watched the footage
I booked a wedding gig in Scottsdale last month and didn't want to buy gear, so I rented a DJI RS 4 for $85 from a shop near the university. First hour I was fighting the balance and nearly switched to my monopod, no joke. Then I stopped fighting it and just used the follow mode for a reception walk-through. Played back the clips on my laptop that night and the smoothness was night and day, all those tiny steps I thought were messing up just disappeared. Anyone else had gear that clicked only after you trusted it on site?
