Had to pick between a sous vide and an Instant Pot last Christmas

My mom asked what kitchen gadget I wanted for the holidays, and I went back and forth for a week. I ended up going with the sous vide because I love steak and wanted to try that perfect medium rare thing. First time I used it on a strip from Costco, it came out way more tender than my pan sear routine. The downside is it takes forever compared to a pressure cooker. Has anyone here switched back after trying both?

Sous vide is the clear winner for steak, no debate.

120F for an hour in sous vide then a hard sear beats any reverse sear I have tried.
