Just realized my old way of asking questions online was a total mess

I was trying to fix my washing machine last week, the one that came with my apartment. It started making this loud banging noise, like something was loose inside. I went to post about it in a forum, but I just typed 'washer broken help' and hit send. Of course, nobody could help me with that. I had to go back and add that it's a front loader, the noise happens on the spin cycle, and I already checked for coins in the rubber seal. Once I put all that detail in, three people guessed it was the shock absorbers right away. It made me think about how I used to just ask vague stuff and get mad when no one answered, lol. Now I see you really gotta give the full picture if you want a real answer. Has anyone else had a moment where they finally figured out how to ask a good question online?

My old apartment had a washer that sounded like a helicopter taking off. I just posted "machine loud fix" and got zero replies. Honestly though, is it that deep? People scroll fast, they're not gonna play 20 questions. If you want free help, you gotta give the basic details. It's not some big life lesson, it's just how forums work.
