Question about my failed attempt to photograph the Milky Way
Drove out to a dark sky site, only to realize I left my intervalometer at home (talk about a facepalm moment). Had to try manual shots, but they all came out blurry and useless.

Honestly, leaving the intervalometer at home is such a gut punch. Tbh, manual shots for stars almost never work without it. Ngl, I've been there and wasted a whole night on blurry pictures too. It's so annoying after you put in the drive to a dark spot. You really need that steady timer for long exposures. Just try to double check your gear next time, it happens to everyone.

Yosemite nights are brutal without the right gear.

Brutal nights? @troy816 made me rethink my gear choices.

Seems like overkill to me, but maybe I'm wrong.
