Vinegar fizzed on my garden rock and revealed its true form

Always assumed those pale stones were boring quartz pieces. Grabbed some vinegar from the kitchen and gave one a quick drip. The CRAZY fizz proved it was limestone, which explains my soil type. Now I bring a tiny bottle on walks for fast checks. This BASIC trick made rock hunting way more fun for me.
