That before and after shot of the Veil Nebula from 2015 to 2024 blew my mind
I always figured nebula photos were basically the same year after year, but someone in a forum posted side by side shots showing how the shockwave actually expanded noticeably in 9 years. Has anybody else seen a real time change like that in deep sky objects?

The Crab Nebula pulsar images really got me. Those Hubble shots showed the inner ring changing shape over a few years. It's wild how these massive structures shift on a human timescale.
