Had 9 cars dropped off in one Monday at my shop in Cleveland, and 2 of them were the same hit and run
Last Monday I walked in at 7am to 9 cars in the lot, which never happens at my little 3 bay shop in Cleveland, and two of them had almost the same damage on the driver side rear quarter. Turns out a guy in a lifted truck sideswiped both cars on the same street about 10 minutes apart and the cops already had him, so I spent all week on quarter panels instead of the fender job I had booked. How do you all juggle your schedule when a pile of jobs lands at once, do you push the smaller stuff or just work late?
My buddy runs a 2 bay shop in Parma and got 6 cars in one Tuesday after a hailstorm, he just told his regulars they were looking at Friday and knocked out the insurance jobs first since those folks were stuck without rides. Worked out fine, nobody really cared once he explained it.
