Trusted a buddy's primer recommendation and now my blend is blotchy.
My friend swore by this budget primer for spot repairs. I used it on a fender blend last week. Now the paint is drying with uneven texture and the color match is off. Lesson learned: never skip on prep materials, even for small jobs.

Actually, the primer isn't the main issue for the color match. That's all in the base coat.
