Tried the new Klein Tools crimper against my old Snap-on, the difference is in the jaw.
I was terminating some 22 gauge wire on a Garmin G1000 install and the Klein's smaller, angled jaw let me get into a tight spot behind the panel that the bulkier Snap-on just couldn't. The crimp was cleaner and I didn't have to fight the tool. Anyone else find a specific tool that just works better for avionics wire than the general-purpose stuff?

To each their own but I see people treating Knipex like they're some kind of holy grail tool. They make decent pliers, sure. But unless you're in a crawlspace every day fighting rusty pipes, your standard set from the hardware store probably gets the job done fine. Feels like a lot of money for a brand name that doesn't actually change the outcome of tightening a bolt eight times a year.

Harperc79, you actually own Knipex pliers? I thought those were just a tool forum legend.
