Had to choose between the Eagle Rock Loop and the Ouachita Trail last spring

Honestly, I went with the Eagle Rock Loop in Arkansas because I only had 3 days and wanted the river crossings. Ngl, the trail was super muddy after a rain but the views from the bluffs made it worth it. Anyone have a solid 4-day route on the Ouachita they'd recommend for next time?

Wet leaves are a whole different kind of treacherous. Mud at least gives you some warning with the squelch. Leaves just look innocent until your feet go flying.
