Hit 500 board feet of reclaimed lumber stored in my garage last night
I was just moving some pallets around and decided to actually count what I've been hoarding (I mean, saving). Turns out I have 500 board feet of old oak and pine crammed in there, which is way more than any normal person needs for a few planters and shelves. Has anyone else accidentally turned their garage into a lumber yard without noticing?

Accidentally turned your garage into a lumber yard" - that's exactly how it starts, isn't it? It's funny how we think we're just saving a few boards but then one day you're stepping over piles to get to your car. It's like how people collect Tupperware lids thinking they'll match up with a container someday, but really you're just running out of space for future projects.
