That cheap air compressor I bought on clearance actually works great
Picked up a little pancake compressor at the Menards in Green Bay for $40, figured it would die after a week. Been using it for 6 months now to fill tires and run a brad nailer for some garage shelving projects. Still holds pressure fine and starts up every time. Anyone else get lucky with a budget tool that surprised them?

Oh man, that's a great find! A friend of mine grabbed a little electric chainsaw from a flea market for like 20 bucks. It looked beat up and we all laughed at him for wasting his money. Well, that thing has been through three summers of cutting firewood and trimming trees on his property. Still runs like a top, even after he dropped it off a ladder once. Sometimes you just get lucky with those cheap clearance deals, I guess.

Tbh it's wild how some of those junk-looking finds end up being absolute tanks.
