My neighbor said my studio looked like a garden shed from the road

He told me that last spring, and it made me look at the whole thing differently. I had just slapped some basic siding on and called it done, focusing only on the inside. So I spent about $500 on some better trim and painted it a dark green to blend with the trees. Now it actually looks like part of the property instead of an afterthought. Anyone else get a piece of feedback that totally changed how you finished the outside?

Yeah that "outside perspective" thing @miller.paul said is so true, it's like you get blind to your own place. A fresh pair of eyes can spot the simple stuff you totally miss. Good on you for actually listening and making the change.
