My whole studio floor started to slope after the first heavy rain

Honestly, I just packed the gravel base by hand and thought it was fine. The water pooled right under my shed door and my level showed a full inch drop over 6 feet. How do you guys properly grade your site before building?

Honestly an inch over six feet doesn't sound that bad. Could just be the ground settling a bit after the rain.
