TIL my studio's floor leveling took almost a month to get right
The concrete slab had a subtle slope I didn't catch, and fixing it with self-leveling compound became a whole saga of waiting for it to cure and re-checking. Anyone else have a simple fix turn into a major time sink?

Been there, done that, got the dusty t-shirt. The worst part is that slope you miss until you try to lay something flat. My advice is to always check with a long level and mark the high spots before you even open the first bag. Let each pour cure fully, even if it takes a few days, because rushing just means you'll be adding more layers. It turns into a waiting game, but doing it right the first time is the only way out.

Was it a floor leveling project or an exercise in patience? I mean, a month for a slab sounds like the concrete was on its own personal journey.
