My new apartment building has a door that opens directly onto a busy bike lane, and the management says it's 'fine'

Honestly, a delivery guy almost got hit last week and yelled at me that it's a lawsuit waiting to happen, so now I warn everyone before they come over, but is this really just a 'user error' problem or a genuinely dangerous design flaw?

Yikes, that's a bad setup. My buddy's old place had the same thing and his mom got her groceries knocked right out of her hands by a bike. Management never did anything about it either.

And it's wild how many places just ignore the ADA rules for path width. Like, that's not just bad design, it's actually breaking the law in a lot of spots.
