Shoutout to whoever designed that terrible parking lot at the DMV in Austin

Went to renew my license last Tuesday. The lot has one way arrows pointing every direction but they painted new lines over old ones. You can't see which lane is for exit or entry. Three cars almost hit each other in 10 minutes. I sat there for 5 minutes just trying to figure out where to go. Someone finally rolled down their window and yelled the entrance is on the back side. Has anyone else dealt with a parking lot that makes zero sense?

That Austin DMV lot is an ABSOLUTE nightmare. I went there last month and literally drove around for ten minutes before realizing the "entrance" was a painted over arrow pointing to a concrete barrier. Someone finally honked and waved me to the back where a tiny faded sign was hiding behind a bush.

actually that arrow wasnt painted over. i work near there and watched them repaint the lot lines last spring. they just painted it the same grey as the concrete so it blends in. classic city planning fail. plus the bush hiding the sign got trimmed back in june but then grew right back in like 2 weeks. someone needs to just put a real sign on a pole instead of that tiny thing clamped to a fence.
