My logo went from blurry mess to actually printable after one dumb discovery
I run a small landscaping crew over in Tacoma and my buddy made me a logo in like 10 minutes back in 2021. It looked fine on my phone but every time I tried to put it on a shirt or a truck door it came out all fuzzy and pixelated. I spent three weeks asking around and trying different file converters online, nothing worked right. Then a sign shop guy finally told me the file was only 72 DPI and I needed to get it redrawn as a vector. I paid $85 on Fiverr to have someone trace it in Illustrator and now I can stretch that thing onto a billboard if I wanted to. Felt like such a rookie move but honestly I had no clue what vector even meant before that. Anyone else get burned by a low-res logo and only find out when the printer asks for an EPS or AI file?
