Unpopular opinion: a $15 logo from a guy in Manila looked better than the $600 one I paid for
I needed a logo for my pressure washing side gig, so I hired a local designer here in Tacoma for $600 back in March. He gave me three rounds and a stacked, blurry mess with like six fonts in it. Out of frustration I paid some guy overseas $15 on a Friday night and had a clean one-color mark in my inbox by Saturday morning. The cheap one actually holds up small on my truck magnet, which the six hundred dollar one never did. What is a normal price to pay for just a simple single-color logo that still reads at half an inch?
