My brother called my app 'angry' and now I can't unsee it
He was trying to book a flight and every error message had an exclamation point and red text. I designed it to be clear, not hostile. Has anyone else gotten feedback that made you totally rethink your color choices or tone?

Red error text and exclamation points are pretty standard for flight booking sites. Most people see that and know it means something went wrong, not that the website is mad at them. Your brother might just be overthinking it a bit. Maybe switch the red to a softer orange if it really bugs you, but I wouldnt lose sleep over it.

Three screaming exclamation points though, @max388? Thats a bit much for a date picker error... I've never seen more than one on any site I use regularly. Maybe your brother has a point about dialing back the urgency a little.
