Bought a $200 stand mixer, my hand mixer won

I snagged a fancy stand mixer on sale last month, thought it would change my bread game. Turns out my 3 cup batches were too small, the dough hook just spun the flour around. Anyone else regret a big purchase that sits in the cabinet now?

Tried making a single loaf of sourdough with mine and ended up with what looked like a flour avalanche in a bowl. The thing basically threw a tantrum and refused to mix anything under five pounds. Now it's a very expensive paperweight that takes up half my counter, but hey, at least my hand mixer still gets a workout.
