Had a good chat with the UPS driver about The Wire last Thursday
He was dropping off a package and noticed my Baltimore Orioles hat, and we spent 10 minutes talking about how season 4 captures the city's school system better than any documentary ever could. Has anyone else had a random encounter that turned into a great TV show recommendation?

Oh absolutely, I totally caved. One more episode turned into "well, it's only 3am, might as well finish the season." By the time I crawled into bed the birds were chirping outside, which is always a sign of good life choices. My eyes looked like I'd been pepper sprayed but at least I finally knew what happened with that cliffhanger (you know the one, right around episode 8). Would I do it again? Probably, yeah, no regrets.
