I just hit 100 shows on my 'watched' list and it made me rethink my whole taste
I logged my 100th show last night, which was the old sitcom 'Cheers'. Looking back, I realized about 70 of them were serious dramas or thrillers. I always thought I only liked dark, heavy stuff, but the shows I've rewatched the most are actually the light, funny ones. It's weird how a number can show you something you missed. Anyone else have a list that surprised them about what they really enjoy?

Happened to me with movies. My list was full of long, serious films, but my most played thing is the comedy 'Hot Fuzz'. I started a separate list for comfort rewatches. Now I track what I actually watch when I'm tired, not just what I finish to log it. It showed me I need easy laughs way more than I admit.

Honestly, is it that deep? It's just a list. I get what you and mark_fisher48 are saying about seeing a pattern, but maybe you just like both things. Sometimes you want a steak dinner, sometimes you just want a burger. I've got heavy stuff on my list right next to dumb reality shows. The rewatch thing just means you pick the burger when you're tired. It doesn't mean your taste was wrong.
