Rant: I had to stop watching 'You' because of the moral stuff

Everyone says it's a great binge, but I think it makes stalking seem okay. Isn't that a bit messed up?

Actually seems like the whole point is how messed up it is. The show makes you get inside a killer's head to show how he justifies it. Lots of stories are about bad people, that doesn't mean they agree with them. Feeling uncomfortable with that is part of what makes it interesting TV. You're supposed to question why you might feel pulled in by his point of view sometimes.

Totally get why you had to stop, it's a rough watch. I had the same issue and just started reading episode recaps instead, so I knew the plot without seeing the creepy stuff. Brooker82 has a point about it showing a bad guy's mind, but that doesn't mean you have to sit through it. If a show makes you feel gross, dropping it is the right move.
