Spotted a whole Brooklyn diner hooked on the same show and now I need to know what else I'm missing
I was waiting on my pancakes at a diner in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn last Saturday and noticed something funny. Three different booths had people watching the exact same show on their phones, and one guy at the counter was even talking to the cook about the latest episode. I asked the waitress what the deal was and she said that show has been their unofficial background noise for about 4 months now. It got me thinking about how some shows just quietly become a thing in certain places without anyone online talking about it. I finished the whole first season in two nights after that, so I get it. What show has everyone around you been hooked on that you don't really see people posting about?
