Season 4 lost me too... that prison killing montage was just too much.

Season 4 was really where I started losing interest too. That whole thing with Gus and the cartel just felt like it was dragging on forever. I remember watching the episode where Walt and Jesse are stuck in the RV in the desert, and I actually checked my phone halfway through. For me, the first three seasons had this tight focus on Walt's transformation and the danger of cooking meth, but after that it got too much like a regular crime drama. The fly episode in season 3 was weird but at least it had some tension. I finished the show but I never rewatched anything past season 3.
