He was dead serious, standing there in front of my booth in Springfield, and offered me $50 extra if I could do it. I just stared at my display of kitchen knives and garden tools, wondering if he'd ever seen a real car door. Tell him you need the fifty up front for the special metal... then just give him a regular knife. He'll never actually try it.

Man, that's the perfect example. Everything's got some extra fee or add-on now. It's like they're taking apart a basic thing and selling you the pieces back. Next they'll charge for the air in the tires.
