inBought a 5k laser cutter for my studio and it cost me double that in headaches
Sounds like we've all been there, @sam_harris68. That's just how it goes with used gear a lot of the time. You're paying for someone else's learning curve and hoping it doesn't become yours. There's a bigger pattern here too, I've noticed it in everything from used cars to old lawnmowers. People sell stuff just when it starts acting up, then the next guy has to figure out all the quirks. At least you got your machine running, that's more than most people can say after dropping that kind of cash on a mystery box.

inPro tip: Stop using PVA glue for everything and try paste
Nah you're not alone. Paste gives way better flexibility for rounding and the books actually last longer without cracking.

inVisited my sister in Phoenix and noticed everyone puts corn in the air fryer
Man I used to be an oven-only guy for corn but after trying the air fryer method last week I'm totally converted. That charred flavor without the mess sold me, how long do you usually let it go?

inWarning: watching dubbed vs subbed One Piece changed my whole viewing pace
With Crunchyroll’s simuldub schedule they usually drop like 3-4 episodes at once for new shows... then it settles into a weekly thing after that first big batch. The subs are always just one a week from the start though, so you’re actually getting more content faster with the dub in those first few weeks before it evens out.

inMy town swapped out old streetlights for LEDs and the change is wild
The new LEDs around my neighborhood are so bright I caught myself checking my reflection in a car window to see if I was picking my nose. Old orange lights were forgiving, these things reveal every bad decision you made on the way home. Still, I swapped my porch light to a warmer LED bulb so I don't feel like I'm under an interrogation lamp every time I walk the dog.
