PSA: I swore by electric forges until our block's grid went down
A big storm cut power for two days, and my work stalled. My neighbor let me use his propane forge to finish a gate order on time. Now I keep a small propane kit handy for emergencies.

Electric forges are cleaner and cost less to run most of the time. Power cuts don't happen that often where I live, so planning for them with propane feels like a waste. Propane setups need you to keep fuel around and check it all the time. Getting a backup generator is a better fix for keeping your electric forge going. I'd stick with electric and not bother with the extra kit.

Oh, the backup generator idea actually makes sense.

So @the_nina, the backup generator finally clicks for you? It's not rocket science, just basic planning for when the power goes out. Who wants to mess with propane when a generator keeps your forge running?
