Like, if the opening scene doesn't grab me, I put it back. It saved me from buying that hyped-up mystery novel last month. The cover was all dark and fancy, but the writing felt flat.

Marvel used to mail out empty envelopes as their official "No-Prize" for fixing continuity errors. They literally rewarded fans for pointing out their own mistakes. I find that so wild it kind of takes the steam out of arguing. My method now is just to mention that fact and laugh, because how can you stay mad at a company that turned plot holes into a joke award?
