Actually, analog meters are often better for those old, slow shutter speeds.

Should have just used your finger to feel the shutter drag. That old analog needle probably bounced around more than a kid on a sugar rush. Bet you spent more time guessing what the meter meant than actually fixing the camera. Sometimes the fancy tool just gives you a fancy way to be wrong.
