Swapped from Wacom to an iPad for sketching and it's night and day
I've been using a Wacom Intuos for like 6 years now and always thought it was fine. Last month my buddy let me borrow his iPad Pro with Procreate for a weekend and I couldn't believe how much faster I was. The screen response was way more natural, no more looking up at my monitor while drawing on the tablet. I knocked out three full character sketches in one afternoon where normally that would take me two days. The pressure sensitivity felt smoother too, like my brush strokes actually matched what I had in my head. I still use the Wacom for bigger projects cause the screen size is good, but for quick concept art the iPad just kills it. Has anyone else made this switch and ended up sticking with one over the other?
