My new coworking desk setup failed when my portable monitor battery died mid-call with a client in Bali

I was giving a virtual tour of a property in Ubud for a relocation client and my monitor just blacked out at the 15-minute mark. Has anyone else had a monitor or battery pack die at the worst possible time?

Dude my portable monitor died at the 17 minute mark of a client meeting last month. I used to think backups were overkill but now I literally keep two power banks charged just for that thing.

Literally keep two power banks charged just for that thing." Man, that's a bit much. A dead monitor in a client meeting is awkward, sure, but it's not like the building was on fire. You probably could have just said "give me one sec to grab a different setup" and moved on. I've had laptops crash mid-presentation before and nobody really cared after the first 10 seconds of silence. Feels like you're prepping for a power outage at this point.
